On Sunday we continued our new series on the Book of Nehemiah. The book of Nehemiah is so much more than a historical book but shows us God’s heart and commitment to see what he has purposed fulfilled. This week Ps Gill focused on cooperating with God and others, in building the kingdom, His church and the impact it has in translating Vision to Action.

Nehemiah: Rebuild and Revive - Seeing What God Sees - Ps Matt McGaw

On Sunday Ps Matt introduced our new series on the Book of Nehemiah called Rebuild and Revive. The book of Nehemiah is part historical narrative, and part personal reflection and prayer. In its 13 chapters it gives us great insight into some significant doctrinal, moral and spiritual truths, and above all God’s heart and commitment to see what he has purposed fulfilled.

Lazarus Rising - Ps Mark Edwards

On Sunday guest speaker Mark Edwards spoke about Lazarus Rising and shared the story of resurrection. God is the resurrection in our circumstances. Even when there doesn't seem to be a resurrection, we can have faith that there is an even better resurrection. Resurrection is not determined by the end result. Resurrection is determined by the eyes of God by how the journey is taken and undertaken even though it is painful.

Family Values: Building a Jesus Centered Marriage - Ps Matt & Gill McGaw

On their wedding day everyone dreams of something that will last, but we are going to have to be intentional
to seek to build a marriage the way God intended. He is the author and creator of marriage, and He intends it to be something that would bring Him honour and glory, and bless us, and others. Any builder will tell you it is not what you see above the ground that matters, as much as the foundations that you are building on. Ps Matt and Ps Gill spoke about 5 essential foundations to build our marriages on.

On Sunday Ps Matt spoke about what does it mean to have a Jesus Centered Family. Despite our imperfection, Jesus gives us the ability to be the family that he has destined us to be.

H4H: Can You See? - Ps Matt McGaw

In this Heart for the House season, but also in life, what we SEE will influence what we DO and how we
RESPOND. Ps Matt used the example of Elisha and his servant, found in 2King 6 to show how important it is to see withour spiritual eyes to what God sees, and not just our natural sight. This is where faith is born.

H4H: A Heart of Generosity - Ps Matt McGaw

This week we launched our Heart for the House (H4H) 2023 campaign - our once-a-year opportunity to sow into the legacy that God is unfolding here at Fusion City Church. A legacy is something that outlives us, that we hand on to generations to come. What I do for myself usually dies with me, but I do for others and the kingdom lives beyond me.

This Sunday our guest Ps Danny reached out to people, with vulnerability and reality, about the Church and what it provides, what it is and who we are as the church. Despite any issues the church has experienced, ‘the stink inside the ark was better than the storm outside’. The church is like the ark in that it’s a place of refuge, rescue and release.
