Heavenly Habits

On Sunday we began a new series to begin the new year called Heavenly Habits. We all have habits, the things that we do consistently and instinctively. Some of our habits can be good but other times we have bad habits. Ps Matt shared about heavenly habits and how positioning ourselves to maximize the year that lies ahead is all about the habits that we establish.

Ps Rhys concluded our series on the Book of Nehemiah called Rebuild and Revive. The book of Nehemiah is so much more than a historical book but shows us God’s heart and commitment to see what he has purposed fulfilled. This week Ps Rhys focused on Restoration. The book of Nehemiah is one of restoration – God is a God of restoration! Celebrating restoration is important. The process of restoration can be challenging, we can rob ourselves of joy, purpose and future by not pursuing restoration when we’re focused on the challenge ahead instead of God above, as Nehemiah was.

Ps Matt continued our series on the Book of Nehemiah called Rebuild and Revive. The book of Nehemiah is so much more than a historical book but shows us God’s heart and commitment to see what he has purposed fulfilled. This week Ps Matt focused on agreement. Agreeing with God to pursue Him, to honor His ways, to trust Him, to reflect His love and to support His work. 

Nehemiah: Rebuild and Revive - Confess - Ps Matt McGaw

Ps Matt continued our series on the Book of Nehemiah called Rebuild and Revive. The book of Nehemiah is so much more than a historical book but shows us God’s heart and commitment to see what he has purposed fulfilled. This week Ps Matt focused on confession. The Israelites had completed the walls and now a reviving is happening amongst the people - and we see the Israelites confessing and repenting of their sins. If we are going to rebuild and revive our lives, we need to move from knowledge to response - from conviction to confession and repentance.

Nehemiah: Rebuild and Revive - Word Central - Ps Nathan McGaw

Ps Nathan continued our series on the Book of Nehemiah called Rebuild and Revive. The book of Nehemiah is so much more than a historical book but shows us God’s heart and commitment to see what he has purposed fulfilled. This week Ps Nathan focused on the word of God and the importance of being WORD CENTRAL. The word of God is life giving, it is not irrelevant, it is not ‘old-fashioned’. It is the very living words of God! It is life giving to the broken, refreshing to the weary and cleansing to the sick.

Nehemiah: Rebuild and Revive - Make a Difference - Prof Stu Semple

On Sunday we continued our new series on the Book of Nehemiah. The book of Nehemiah is so much more than a historical book but shows us God’s heart and commitment to see what he has purposed fulfilled. This week Prof Stu focused on how God designed and chose us to transform lives, change culture and to do good works. As a chosen royal priesthood, God's workmanship, it implies that we have to minister. We are already in the ministry, we are all called into ministry, and we can therefore make a difference no matter where we are. 

Nehemiah: Rebuild and Revive - Sticks and Stones - Ps Matt McGaw

On Sunday we continued our new series on the Book of Nehemiah. The book of Nehemiah is so much more than a historical book but shows us God’s heart and commitment to see what he has purposed fulfilled. This week Ps Matt focused on the opposition that Nehemiah faced in rebuilding the wall and gates. Opposition is something we should expect as people walking in purpose and calling in Jesus’ name. We need to be equipped to respond well in the face of opposition.

On Sunday we continued our new series on the Book of Nehemiah. The book of Nehemiah is so much more than a historical book but shows us God’s heart and commitment to see what he has purposed fulfilled. This week Ps Gill focused on cooperating with God and others, in building the kingdom, His church and the impact it has in translating Vision to Action.
